Dans la nuit du 6 au 7 janvier, l’Éthiopie chrétienne est en émoi pour «Genna», Noël. Dans les semaines qui précèdent, les pèlerins se mettent en marche des 4 coins du pays en direction de Lalibela : la Jérusalem éthiopienne, où cette fête est la plus grandiose. Pour être les témoins privilégiés de cette foi, avec mon ami Frédéric, nous prenons la route depuis le flanc nord du Parc National des Montagnes du Simien... Vingt-trois jours de marche nous attendent...

«Genna», the Ethiopian Christmas takes place on the night of the 6th of January. For the Christians in this country, this is an important moment of bliss. During the weeks running up to that particular night, pilgrims from all corners of the country, start on a journey that will take them to a place where the celebration is the most grandiose: Lalibela, the Ethiopian Jerusalem. With my friend Frédéric, we set out from the Northern part of the Simien mountains on a 23 days  walk and become privileged witnesses of this walk of faith...
